The hotel was located just off the Castle, loch and a great restaurant, The Old School, a taxi to/from restaurants, and a spectacular island. I've been here for 3 nights, the breakfast was overall incredible with local smoked salmon. The service provided there was excellent! I had a nice experience and would love to come back, thoroughly enjoyed the city and venue.

I almost thought about giving a good review, but the dinner menu was nothing short of a joke-cheese boards and jacket potatoes? Seriously? Plus, the lack of a cute gift for my stay was almost disgraceful. I expected a bit more for my 5 nights here, especially at those prices.

Some guests faced issues with noise disturbances from nearby rooms and common areas, which might detract from the usual tranquility. The limited dinner menu, particularly on certain evenings, was a letdown, especially for those hoping for a hot meal after a day of exploring. Plus, the Wi-Fi connectivity was inconsistent, a nuisance when you're trying to catch up on things.

The culinary adventure at Atholl House alone makes it worth a visit! Their breakfast features scrumptious locally sourced options that hit the spot. After long days hiking the Isle, the cozy lounge is like a warm hug.
Saturday night meals were a bit lackluster-who wants cold platters after a day battling the elements? A nice hot meal would have been a treat.
